Math 75/75A Placement Policy

The Calculus Readiness Test is required for enrollment in Math 75 or Math 75A.
In order to enroll in Math 75 or Math 75A, there are three requirements:

You must meet the ELM requirement.
You must have taken elementary geometry, intermediate algebra and trigonometry;
or Precalculus.
You must pass the Calculus Readiness Test (CRT).

If your overall CRT score is at least 21/40 and your Trigonometry subscore is at least 3/5, you are eligible to enroll in Math 75.
If your overall CRT score is at least 14/40 and your Trigonometry subscore is at least 2/5, you are eligible to enroll in Math 75A.
If your CRT score does not meet the requirements to enroll in Math 75 or Math 75A, you may consider enrolling in Math 5 (Trigonometry) or Math 6 (Precalculus).
